IACS is the acronym for Industrial Automation Control System. The term is in use internationally, and especially in Europe. It is a type of Operational Technology (OT) for the automation and control of industrial systems, such as those found in energy, water, transportation and manufacturing.
IACS is generally a synonym to ICS.
